Fortress at Doves Rest Cabins

Amazing Cabin, Amazing Views, Amazing Time. We had an effortless, adventurous, unforgettable stay. Our family and young boys made many memories. Effortless experience, check-in to check-out, amazing and thoughtful communication. We hope to be back.

Absolutely magical. We stayed at the Chairlift cabin and it was perfect. Everything you would ever need us already there. Beds were comfortable with full, fluffy pillows. Very sweet welcome gift in the fridge was a great surprise. Cabin was spotless and comfortable. Views of sunrise over the canyon were incredible. We will be back.

This cabin is absolutely breath taking!! I mean wow! it was gorgeous the scenery it's waay more beautiful in person than the pictures. I had a very small elopement and the it turned out incredible. the morning views were spectacular Sharyn and Lindsey were absolutely wonderful - they communicated very and were super friendly. I am definitely coming back. I feel in love with this magical place <3 thank you!!

We stayed at kokopelli cabin! Remote, wild life greets you just outside mornings and evenings. Sunrise was absolutely beautiful! I was Blessed they had a cabin available, since I didn’t make any reservations. When I go back to Palo Duro Canyon, I plan to stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay (our second time) at this property! The accommodations are great with everything you need for a comfortable stay. All we had to do was bring our food. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your meals. The robes for the hot tub are a nice bonus. As well as the nice white microfiber towels. Each bathroom has plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion for your entire stay. The views are incredible. The outdoor Adirondack chairs and hanging chair swings are a great place to relax at sunrise or sunset as you watch the canyon change colors.

Stayed in Stagecoach. Quiet, gorgeous views, loved watching the sunset and sunrise. Very clean cabin. Bed was really comfortable. Booked a wonderful hot stone massage on site. Cabins were also a few minutes drive to the park which is really nice at the end of a long hike! Would definitely book this treasure again. In addition to the wonderful cabin, the staff was very nice, helpful, and quick to respond.

We had a wonderful experience here! We chose to do a microwedding (less than 20 people) at this cabin overlooking the canyon. When we reached out to ask if they would be fine with us doing that, they were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Not only was the view spectacular, but the cabin was beautiful and very well-maintained. Our friends and family stayed in a total of 6 of their cabins and we were all thoroughly impressed with each cabin. We would definitely recommend Doves Rest Cabins and will hopefully be returning someday.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First and foremost, this place is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t have dreamt of a more stunning view, with the house perfectly positioned to overlook the breathtaking canyons. Watching the sunrise and set over the canyons was an unforgettable experience. Communication was on point from the time of reservation until check out. The house was clean, comfortable, and equipped with every necessity we needed during our stay. Our furry friend also enjoyed his stay immensely! We were also surprised by such a sweet gift upon opening the refrigerator, a box of chocolates, bottle of champagne, sparkling juice and two complimentary Doves Rest glass champagne flutes. We loved lounging in the swing chairs outside and relaxing in the Adirondack chairs while using the gas grill for our dinners. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Doves Rest Cabins Fortress house and can’t wait to come back again.
